Annual Appeal

The Annual Appeal impacts each and every student in tangible ways – you need only visit a classroom to see your gifts at work. Equally important, the Annual Appeal supports the dedicated teachers who make St. Anne so special.
The Annual Appeal also supports the school’s scholarship-awarding tuition scale, enriching our community by extending the opportunity for a Catholic education to children for whom it would not otherwise be possible, providing students the experience of learning from diversity and tolerance of others.
It is hard to overstate the importance of your participation in the Annual Appeal. Families come from a wide range of economic backgrounds, and some families are able to contribute more than others.
Every donation, no matter its size, contributes to the whole. Participation at any level demonstrates the strong commitment alumnus, parents, grandparents and friends have to St. Anne and its mission of "providing a quality Catholic education and developing young adults with emphasis on moral and religious values..."
Collectively, individual gifts from parents, grandparents alumni and friends make a vital difference in the day-to-day life on campus.

Since many companies offer matching gift programs, we encourage you to see if your employer will match your gift. It is a great way to double or triple your gift!
Guardian Angels
If you want to have a direct effect upon a child's life, you might consider becoming a Guardian Angel of a student or two. We know that students' lives are changed forever by being a student in a Christ-centered learning environment; and they benefit every day by being in a school where it is nurturing, educationally enriching, and steeped in the traditions of our faith and the love of Christ. You can make that possible by sponsoring a student with a gift of tuition.
Your gift of $6,000 to the Scholarship Fund sponsors one student for a year and makes Catholic education possible. Please consider becoming a Guardian Angel today. Guardian Angels will be recognized at the closing Mass of the school year in appreciation for their support of student(s) at St. Anne Catholic School.
Endowments
There may be no better measurement of a school’s long-term fiscal health than the strength of its endowment. Endowment provides annual support for the operating budget, drawing from the interest earned on invested funds. For many supporters, contributions to endowment are attractive because they support the school on an on-going basis, in perpetuity. The principle is not spent, so the Endowment is an important and reliable source of income beyond tuition and much more dependable than fundraising.
St. Anne has been blessed with great generosity and currently has two endowed funds through the Diocese of Beaumont:
a General Endowment and the Teacher Salary Endowment.
In the General Endowment, St. Anne has the Mary and Leo Cooke Endowment, established by former parishioners of St. Anne Parish, and the newly established Todd Christopher Endowment is growing.
Establishing Funds
Some funds are established with gifts from a large number of supporters. Other funds have been created by an individual family or members of a particular class. A gift, or pledge or a gift, of $10,000 is required to establish a new fund within the St. Anne Endowment, and contributions can be made over a period of five years to establish the endowment permanently. Income of approximately five percent is drawn annually from each endowment which means a $10,000 endowment recognizes the person(s) being honored and generates an annual gift to the school of $500.
Ways to give to the Endowment:
a person may contribute to an established fund or existing endowment;
a person, family, or group can establish an endowed fund in honor of a family or family member, a favorite classmate, teacher, priest, or program at the school; or
one might choose to establish an Annual Appeal Endowment which will ensure that your annual support of St. Anne will continue in perpetuity.
To establish an Endowment through the Diocese the amount to be invested must be $100,000 or more.
