COMPUTER APPLICATIONS
Computer Applications for Grades 3 6: Students will learn various computer software programs to help them achieve basic knowledge and skills related to computer technology appropriate to their grade level.
Schedule: Grades 3, 4, and 5 attend computer class for 30 minutes each day for one nine-week grading period. Grade 6 attends computer class for 45 minutes daily (during one 9-week grading period).
Keyboarding: Students in grades 3-6 will learn "touch typing" using a program by Ellsworth Publishing Company called Keyboarding for Kids.
Instructional Objectives: In a nine-week course, grades 4-6 will also discuss and learn concepts related to:
