DISCIPLINE:  Our discipline system is very basic and fair.  We have three colors, which represent behaviors for the day.

                                      GREEN=GOOD

                                      YELLOW=FAIR

                                      RED=POOR

Each child will begin with green each day.  Students will be given warnings if they do not follow the rules (YELLOW-GREEN.)  Students who continue to misbehave will move to yellow, etc...  Severe actions can result in skipping yellow. If a student is on yellow, they will miss 5 minutes of recess. (10 minutes if they are moved to red.) We will note daily conduct on sheets in their take home folders.  You will need to initial conduct daily.  Don’t forget to praise praise praise good conduct!  If a child is continually on red, you will be contacted by a note or phone call. 

To keep our discipline plans a positive experience, we require your help.  Daily, students will enter a prize raffle if they remained on green, and will have the chance for a prize.  Weekly, students that have mostly green days that week will be allowed to select a prize from the treasure box.  We need help with the prizes/treasures!  We need small almost new or new prizes/toys. (example: McDonald’s Happy Meal toys, party favors, stickers, special pencils).  Class rewards will be given throughout the school year when the students have excellent behavior as a whole.
